The Holidays is a magical time of year. Often times filled with family, parties, meals, and gifts. But for many people the holidays can also be a difficult time. For me, these various moods can swing back and forth multiple times in the same day. The holidays are enjoyed with the family that I have, but they also remind me of my family members that have already passed away. This combination of emotions makes me aware that while the holidays are filled with celebrations, it is important that we take moments for personal reflection, and also that we check in on the people around us and see how they are doing.
